Pediatric Regional Anesthesia Boutique Workshop

This workshop is structured to improve your pediatric regional anesthesia skills. You will learn both the principles of practice, useful acute pain, and regional anesthesia pediatric protocols. Hands-on practice, including scanning techniques on children will equip participants with practical skills and knowledge, addressing the current disparities in pediatric pain management.

With the rising relevance and clinical importance of regional anesthesia it is imperative to recognise and implement all of it’s benefits in the pediatric population. It is well established that RA in children offers superior perioperative analgesia, reduces use of opioids, and in select cases completely eliminates the need for general anesthesia.
